What Are The Disadvantages of Having Smaller Wheels

Rougher Ride 

Less air in smaller tires means less cushioning. It becomes immediately apparent due to the lack of suspension in go-karts. Their bendable bodies help to compensate to some extent.

Lower Peak Torque

While smaller wheels perform better at lower-end torque ranges, bigger wheels flourish at the higher-end torque range. It may be noticed in some situations (passing on straight parts), but it is insufficient to warrant wider tires’ usage.

Reduced Braking Potential

Size
